Calming Mugwort Tea
Ingredients
1 cup (240 mL) of water
1 tablespoon of fresh, chopped mugwort leaves
Optional: Honey or another sweetener to taste
Instructions
Chop the leaves: Thoroughly wash the mugwort leaves. Chop them finely to maximize the release of flavor and beneficial compounds.
Boil water: In a small saucepan or teapot, bring one cup of water to a boil.
Steep the tea: Pour the boiling water directly over the fresh mugwort leaves in a mug or pot.
Infuse: Let the mugwort steep for 10–15 minutes. For a less intense flavor, shorten the steeping time.
Strain: Use a fine-mesh strainer to remove all the plant material from the liquid.
Sweeten and serve: Stir in honey if desired and enjoy your freshly brewed mugwort tea.
