Ashwaganda
This powerful root is considered an adaptogen. Possible benefits are numerous and different for each of us. We recommend you do some research and experimentation to figure out how it works best for you personally.
Many herbalists suggest dehydrating before consuming. You can do this by cutting roots (I use scissors) and placing in a dehydrator or at low heat in the oven (~120F for 2-3 hours). From there you can create a powder, decoction, or tincture.
Powder: simply place dried roots into a grinder (I use a thrifted coffee grinder). You can do so many things with the powder!
Simple Decoction: simmer 1 tbsp chopped ashwagandha root in 1.5 cups water for 15–45 minutes, then strain. Add honey, spices, ginger to flavor.
